Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 12g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity and Clears Damp-Heat from the Lower Jiao.
With Lian Qiao, for various Heat disorders.
With Lian Qian and Huang Qin, for an unremitting high fever.
With Di Yu and Huang Qin, for bleeding Intestinal abscess or bleeding dysenteric disorder due to Damp-Warm febrile disease.
Fr. Forsythiae Lian Qiao 9g Clears Heat, relieves toxicity and promotes urination.
With Jin Yin Hua, for initial-stage Wind-Heat.
Rx. Sophorae Flavescentis Ku Shen 9g Clears Heat, dries Dampness and promotes urination.
Hb. Artemisiae Scopariae Yin Chen Hao 12g Clears Heat and facilitates the resolution of Dampness.
Cx. Phellodendri Huang Bai 6g Drains Damp-Heat especially from the Lower Jiao, drains Kidney Fire, drains Fire and relieves Fire toxicity.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 9g Nourishes the Blood, regulates menstruation and astringes Yin.
With Huang Qin, for dysenteric disorders with abdominal pain due to Heat entering the Interior.
With Huang Qin and Huang Lian, for Damp-Heat dysenteric disorders.
With Huang Qin, Huang Lian and Mu Dan Pi, for Menstrual disorders with Heat signs such as profuse, fresh red Blood, Heat sensations or early menstruation.
Rx. Achyranthis Bidentatae Niu Xi 9g Invigorates the Blood, expels Blood Stasis, nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin and clears Damp-Heat in the Lower Jiao.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 9g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and generates Fluids.
With Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency Heat.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 9g Clears Heat, cools and harmonizes the Blood, clears Deficiency Fire, invigorates the Blood and dispels Blood Stasis.

With Huang Qin, drains pathogenic Heat from the Upper and Middle Jiaos for high fever, redness, swelling and pain of the head and face, dry mouth, parched throat, ulcerations of the mouth and tongue, epistaxis, rashes and irritability in warm-febrile disease.
